Games Leadership

Age: 16 years and above
A minimum of 8 participants are required to start the course.
INTRODUCTION
This 2 days residential programme (at OBS, Pulau Ubin) is designed to provide participants with general awareness on how to design, deliver and facilitate effective teambuilding activities.
The programme will also include an introductory module on Risk Management that participants can apply when designing or conducting outdoor activities for their client group. The programme structure includes indoor and outdoor practical sessions with theoretical input to reinforce the knowledge and skills.
Upon completion of the programme, all participants will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance from Outward Bound Singapore.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The programme will allow participants to:
Games Leadership:
a. Experience the strength and characteristics of ice-breakers/team building activities;.
b. Experience and maximise the potential of these activities;
c. Experience and practise skills in managing and facilitating groups; and
d. Design icebreakers and teambuilding activities.
Basic Risk Management:
a. Understand the Roles of Outdoor Leaders/Teachers when organising or conducting outdoor adventure activities;
b. Understand & application of the Risk Management System;
