Basic Ice Climbing In Korea

An icy adventure awaits!

 

Course Date: 30 Jan 2013 - 6 Feb 2013 (tentative)

 

Adventure seekers with a flare for climbing can now embark on an Ice Climbing escapade in the climber-haven of Soraksan National Park, Korea. It is uniquely designed to expose enthusiasts to the sport, under a controlled, safe and learning environment.

This ice climbing climbing experience is very much suitable for both beginners and avid climbers as it is set at a comfortable training pace by professional climbing coach from the Korean National Climbing TeamFurthermore, the training programme is customised into two phases to better prepare participants in tackling the new skill and the unfamiliar environment.

Other than ice-climbing at natural and artificial walls, participants will also have the opportunities to trek the national park of Korea Sorakshan National Park., summit the peak of Korea third highest peak (subjected to weather condition), taste authentic Korean cuisine and try hot bath in local town. Be assured that you will not only learn the technical skills but also bring away fond memories of the cultural experience in Korea.
