Youth with Special Needs

OBS believes in an inclusive society. Our programmes for special-needs profiles are specially designed for individuals who face challenges in certain physical, sensory, intellectual and/ or learning abilities. We aim to help participants build self-confidence and strengthen their skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership. Through both individual and group settings, OBS delivers high-value learning programmes in a safe and engaging outdoor environment.

Organisations that have benefitted from an outdoor learning experience with OBS include:

• Asian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA)
• Children’s Kidney Centre
• Delta Senior School
• Rainbow Centre
• Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf)
• Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD)
• Woodlands Gardens School

Venue: Pulau Ubin and/ or neighbouring islands
Activities include: Land and/ or sea expedition components, team problem-solving games, rock-climbing, artificial cave-maze, trekking, etc.
