You will be responsible to plan, manage and lead the operations and development of the Outward Bound Professional Department in delivering high quality and effective customized corporate experiential learning programmes. You will be required to develop a sustainable business model for the market share and revenue growth of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree, preferably with Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Development Or Equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in business development
- Analytical, mature and self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Any experience managing a Outdoor center or equivelent will be an advantage

Able to plan, co-ordinate and lead major sea expeditions along sheltered coastal waters. Able to lead and co-ordinate rescue operations. |
| Climbing |
Able to rig, climb, abseil and perform rescues. Understand & teach the rudiments of sport climbing facilities at designated rock climbing walls. |
| Orienteering |
Knowledge of advanced map & compass navigation (e.g. back bearing and use of GPS.) |
| Camp craft |
Able to prepare and set a minimum impact camp in a wilderness setting for an extended period. |
| Sailing |
Able to conduct sailing activities in open waters. Basic level maintenance/repair of sails and sail boats. |
| Kayaking |
BCU Personal Proficiency Level 3. BCU Coaching Level 2. |
| Group Management |
Competent in group leading techniques. Able to use effective leadership styles to lead and benefit the group on an adventure education programme. Able to lead groups on overseas land expeditions. |
| Ropes Course Management |
Able to conduct high ropes challenge course safely using appropriate belay systems. Able to teach belay techniques; competent in high ropes rescue. Able to conduct first line inspection and maintenance of challenge ropes course. |
| Outdoor Experiential Training |
Able to design new outdoor experiential learning activities. |
| Training Module |
Able to develop an innovative training manual from scratch with published resources and personal ideas. |
| Programme/Lecture Delivery |
Able to present with impact and confidence to any group of all educational levels. |
| Facilitation Skills |
Able to bring out sensitive personal issues and resolve some group problems on the spot. Ability to facilitate confidently with the use of advanced techniques e.g. indirect frontloading and isomorphic framing. |
| Training Needs Analysis |
Independently able to design training needs analysis questionnaire and contribute to writing a simple report. |
